DR. DENISE COOKE

Dr. Denise Cooke is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist who has worked in the public school system in the states of Arizona and Florida for over 35 years.  Dr. Cooke began her career as a School Psychologist on ADAPT, Admissions, Diagnostics, and Placement Team, where she evaluated students between the ages of 3 to 21 years of age.  Dr. Cooke’s experience with all areas of disability provided her with opportunities to develop exceptional diagnostic skills. She worked to develop and implement the Twice Exceptional Program in SUSD and served six years as the school psychologist for the program. Her areas of interest include Brain Development, Nonsuicidal Self-Harm, Adolescence, Twice Exceptional, and Ethical standards of practice.
