MARY LOU MUCCINO

Mary Lou Muccino earned her Master’s Degree in Special Education from St. Joseph College and undergraduate in Psychology from Marymount College. She was a teacher, principal, and Director of Special Education in Connecticut and Arizona for 40 years prior to her retirement from Scottsdale Unified School District. During her twenty years as a high school administrator, Mrs. Muccino strove to make her campus a model of diversity and inclusion. Mrs. Muccino believes in the rights of all individuals to develop their possibilities. For the past several years, Mrs. Muccino has worked as the Program Director for a local non-profit where she continues to advocate for disabled children and adults in the community by developing programs in which they are able to participate with their non-disabled peers.
